Samyang 21mm F1.4 ED AS UMC CS has a low F number (F1.4). You may precisely control the lens when shooting under various exposure environment including relatively dark situations. This lens features 8 glasses in 7 groups including 1 extra low dispersion lens (ED) and 3 glass aspherical lenses (ASP) to offer high resolution throughout the image. Ultra Multi Coating(UMC) of Samyang Optics is used to optimize the light penetration and minimizes flare and ghost. With such optical construction, it has 0.28m of minimum Focusing Distance to capture the object in a close distance.
Hardware Features
There are 9 aperture blades designed to be almost as a full circle when aperture is closed which expresses starlike ray clearly and beautifully. The solid frame of the lens is made of high-strength aluminum alloy so you can create trustworthy images. This compact and light-weighted lens is specially designed for mirrorless cameras for portability. Also, detachable petal-shaped lens hood minimizes flare and ghost by sheltering lens from unnecessary lights.
